Packing for a Move

Welcome to my website. I’m hoping to provide you with some useful packing tips. My name is Ellen Monday. My family and I moved from a very large home to a large home. My point being, although we still live in a large house, we did downsize. It was almost like packing for two moves because we had belongings going to the new house and some going to storage. We had to make decisions about what we wanted to keep, store and get rid of. I have some tips on how we made those decisions, and the best ways we found to pack. Items that were going into storage were packed differently than those we were moving to the new house. Boxes had to be carefully and clearly marked so we didn’t end up storing our everyday dishes or something tragic like that! Hope you enjoy my blog.

Child Need A New Bed? Top Reasons To Opt For A Queen Mattress

Aaron Carroll

As your child begins to get older, they will likely begin to outgrow their toddler bed. It's wonderful to watch them inch up closer and even exceed your own height, but at some point, they may start to complain about being cramped each night when they try to go to sleep. You may be thinking it's time for a twin-sized bed and are ready to go shopping. However, although the twin sounds good, there might be a better option. Check out why you should hop over the twin-sized bed and opt for one with a queen mattress instead.

Save Money With A Queen Mattress

Purchasing a bed is a considerable investment. When you factor in the total cost of the frame, rails, mattress, and possibly a new comforter set, you're looking at a pretty hefty sum. If you already have a number of other household expenses to take care of, you must make every penny count. This is certainly how you want to view the prospect of buying a bed for your child.

Youngsters have a tendency to sprout up very quickly. The twin bed may seem ideal at first, but if your child hits a growth spurt, the twin bed could quickly become too small. If this happens, you'll have to head out and buy another mattress a lot sooner than you thought possible, cutting even further into your budget!

Buy a bed that will stand the test of time. A queen bed and mattress set should prove to be more than adequate for the pre-teen years and beyond. Even after your child has become an adult, you can still keep the bed and transform it into a cozy resting place for guests.

Queen Mattresses Are Great For Sharing

If your child loves to invite friends over for sleepovers, the queen mattress is most definitely a great choice to go for. Queen beds are usually large enough to sleep two people comfortably, often with room to spare.

Also, you might find your child fighting for space on their current bed with the family pet. Getting a queen mattress eliminates the struggle so everyone can settle in for a good night's sleep.

Queen mattresses come in many different kinds, including pillowtop, firm, and much more. Head over to a local mattress store so you and your child can test out a few queen varieties to see which one has just the right touch.
