Packing for a Move

Welcome to my website. I’m hoping to provide you with some useful packing tips. My name is Ellen Monday. My family and I moved from a very large home to a large home. My point being, although we still live in a large house, we did downsize. It was almost like packing for two moves because we had belongings going to the new house and some going to storage. We had to make decisions about what we wanted to keep, store and get rid of. I have some tips on how we made those decisions, and the best ways we found to pack. Items that were going into storage were packed differently than those we were moving to the new house. Boxes had to be carefully and clearly marked so we didn’t end up storing our everyday dishes or something tragic like that! Hope you enjoy my blog.

Why You Should Consider Metal Roofing for Your Home

Aaron Carroll

Metal roofing is gaining popularity among homeowners for its durability, energy efficiency, and aesthetic appeal. While traditional asphalt shingles have been the go-to option for many years, metal roofs are making a strong case as the superior choice. So, why should you consider metal roofing for your home?

Longevity: Built to Last

One of the most significant advantages of metal roofing is its longevity. Unlike asphalt shingles, a metal roof can last a lifetime or even longer with proper maintenance. This means you're less likely to face the hassle and expense of a roof replacement down the line.

Durability: Standing Up to Mother Nature

Another major selling point of metal roofs is their durability. They're designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, be it heavy rain, high winds, or snowstorms. They are also resistant to a myriad of problems that may crop up with alternative roofs. This makes them an excellent choice for homeowners looking for a robust and low-maintenance roofing solution.

Energy Efficiency: Lowering Your Utility Bills

Metal roofs are also known for their energy efficiency. They bounce back heat from the sun which can reduce your energy bills' cost by quite a margin. This makes them an eco-friendly option that can help reduce your carbon footprint and save money on your energy bills.

Aesthetics: Enhancing Your Home's Curb Appeal

When it comes to aesthetics, metal roofs are a standout choice. They're available in a variety of styles, colors, and finishes to suit any home design. Whether you prefer a rustic, modern, or traditional look, there's a metal roof to match your style. Besides, a beautiful roof can significantly enhance your home's curb appeal, potentially increasing its resale value.

Environmentally Friendly: A Sustainable Choice

If you're concerned about the environment, a metal roof is a great choice. Most metal roofing materials are made from recycled content and are 100% recyclable at the end of their life. In contrast, most waste from asphalt roofing ends up in landfills. By choosing a metal roof, you're making a sustainable choice that benefits the planet.

While the upfront cost of a metal roof can be higher than other options, the long-term benefits make it a wise investment. Its durability, energy efficiency, aesthetic appeal, and environmentally friendly nature make it an excellent choice for any homeowner. If you're planning a new build or considering a roof replacement, metal roofing offers an array of benefits that are hard to ignore. It's not just a roof; it's a long-term investment in your home and the environment.
